Chithirai Doily - Free pattern

  As I told you already, I got inspiration to create my own work in doilies. It was not just simple work when I began one for myself. I have to appreciate many designers for their creative work.

This is my first doily creation of  my own pattern.

I would add the pattern below. It is free to use.

Thread used White Rose thread no 20.
Hook size 1.75mm

Thread: White Rose Crochet cotton thread no. 2

Hook Size: 1.75mm

Terminology: US terms

Finished size: 7 Inches

Stitches Used:

SC – Single Crochet        

DC – Double Crochet

SL. St – Slip stitch

DC Tog- Double Crochet Together

Bobble stitch

CSDC- Chainless Double Crochet

Small picot- Chain 3, Slip stitch in the third chain from the hook

Note:

·         The stitches marked between ** have to be continued throughout              

Pattern:

1	Chain 5, Join with slip stitch
2	Chain 2, (count as 1st st ), 15 HDC in the ring, Join with sl. St
3	Sl. St in next st, chain 3 (count as 1st st), 2DC, chain 1,  skip 1st, 3DC in next st, *skip 1 stitch, 3DC in next st, * skip 1 stitch, chain 1, Join with sl st
4	Chain 3 (count as 1st st) 2DC in next stitch, 1 DC in next stitch, chain 1 *1DC, 2DC, 1DC, Chain 1* , Join with sl st in chain3
5	Chain 3 (count as 1st st) 1DC in same st, 1DC each on next 2 st, 2DC om last stitch, *Chain 1, 2DC in first stitch, 1DC each in next 2 stitches, 2DC in last stitch * chain 1, Join with sl st
